My experience with M54 has been an extraordinary journey.

The first phase was focused on what I might call the Art of Shlichus. We were guided on weekly topics on which we explored various components of Shlichus, such as listening, expectations, burnout, comparing and more.

It really was the first time in over 10 years on Shlichus where I found myself with a group of people that were interested in exploring themselves and how they operated. Everybody came with an attitude of humility and willingness to learn and be vulnerable. It was an empowering experience.

The retreat in particular was unforgettable. 3 days of discussions, farbrengens, connecting and a lot of thinking! It provided a lot of tangible expression to what we had discussed in previous sessions and was the launchpad to the upcoming ones.

The second phase has been every part illuminating as the first one, if not more so. Now the hard work begins. This part of M54 has been an all-encompassing process to nail down what exactly it is that I want to change and improve on and how to make that happen.

The support provided to make this happen has been first class and I’m very excited to see how this plays out in myself and others.
